Prevention Officer Training

A safe and healthy working environment is not only a legal obligation, but also an essential condition for employee productivity and well-being. Since 2005, it has been mandatory to appoint a prevention officer to support the employer in ensuring daily safety and health. This expert staff member has knowledge of the occupational risks within the organization and the necessary preventive measures. They play a crucial role in drawing up and carrying out the Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI& E) and its plan of action. They also advise and cooperate with the works council, staff representation or interested colleagues. Training for prevention staff is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended to develop the necessary knowledge and skills.
