As an employer you are obliged to take effective measures in the field of business assistance (see Arbowet Art. 3 member 1e). The way in which company assistance is arranged and the number of emergency responders depends on the size of your organization and the safety and health risks associated with the organization. This is determined on the basis of the results of the Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E). If the company appoints BHVs, it must be ensured that they have good training and equipment to properly perform their tasks (see Arbowet Art. 15).

After this training you will know the general rules for assistance. You know what to do in case of severe bleeding. You know what measures to take in the event of fire and smoke development. You know how to approach a source of fire and how to use small extinguishing agents. In addition, you will gain knowledge about first aid in the event of accidents, evacuation plans, escape routes and aftercare after an evacuation.
