Clear insight after four to six months of absence

After four to six months of absence, uncertainty often arises: where does the employee really stand? What can he or she handle? And what are the real obstacles to returning to work?

AD Light provides answers. Through a light version of an occupational health assessment, you and your employee will gain a clear, shared picture of the current situation. This goes beyond medical diagnoses — we also look at non-medical factors that influence absence, such as relational tensions at work, team dynamics, or personal circumstances at home. This holistic view prevents misunderstandings and forms a strong basis for the next step in recovery and return to work.

Process
  • File review: We analyze all available information about the employee and the absence situation.
  • Preliminary meeting with case manager: We discuss the context, questions, and objectives to ensure that the assessment is appropriate.
  • Three-way meeting with employer and employee: We meet with both parties in a single session so that everyone hears the same information and can come to a mutual understanding.
  • Meeting report: You will receive a meeting report that you can use to move forward.
Conclusion and benefits
You now have a clear shared picture: where does the employee stand, what is realistically achievable, and what non-medical factors play a role? This insight prevents disappointment, builds trust, and enables you to make agreements that are truly appropriate. The result: faster and more sustainable recovery, less miscommunication, and a clear path to (partial) return to work.
